Daytime Visions An Alphabet by Isol

A playful exploration of shapes leads to a highly imaginative Alphabet book.

This Argentinian children’s book author, who also happens to be a musician and artist, has an unusual take on teaching kids the alphabet. Combining the stroke of his artistry with playful semantics, Isol brings to life A to Z in a way that connects and inspires.

Each letter inspires a deeper meaning and curiosity. Beyond letters and sounds are drawings that lead you back to each letter. It's also teaches kids different words and scenarios. One may wonder if some of the scenarios are too bold and abstract for the young reader.

What came first the chicken or the egg? In this case, Isol’s imagery lends meaning to the words. Letters form a wonderful friendship with their visual counterparts creating a whimsical story.
